Kristin Jacobson, PsyD, ABPP

Dr. Jacobson is a Board Certified Clinical Neuropsychologist with extensive experience in assessments across the lifespan. She has trained in pediatric and adult hospital settings including at UCSF-Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland and UC Davis Medical Center. Her educational background includes an undergraduate degree from UC Berkeley and a doctoral degree in clinical psychology from John F. Kennedy University in Pleasant Hill, CA. She attained board certification in clinical neuropsychology through the American Board of Professional Psychology and has expertise in traumatic brain injury, stroke, neurodegenerative conditions, and pediatric medical disorders that affect brain functioning.

Dr. Jacobson is published on topics ranging from mood change following injury or illness to cross-cultural considerations in pediatric neuropsychology. She has also written about the relevance of neuropsychological tests to everyday functioning. In addition to owning her practice, she holds a clinical position as a Neuropsychologist at Kaiser Permanente. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and taking her golden retriever, Bowie, for long walks.
